SOMERS BASKETBALL WINTER 2022-2023
1st & 2nd Grade Instructional
Boys & Girls: Basic skills & mini-games each week for 1-hour on Saturday mornings from 12/3-2/25 at SES. Boys are 8-9 am, Girls are 9-10 am.
3rd & 4th Grade Recreational – Boys
Kids will be split into even teams, having one 1-hr team practice + one 1-hr whole group skills session each week. Games will all be played at SES against each other on Friday nights at either 5:00 pm or 6:15 pm.
3rd & 4th Grade Recreational – Girls
Kids will be split into even teams, having one 1-hr team practice + one 1-hr whole group skills session each week. Games will be played against other towns, typically on Saturdays.
5-8th Grade Recreational – Boys & Girls
Each team will have two 1-1.5 hour practices a week at either MBA or SES. Games will be played against other towns typically on Saturdays or Sundays, with all home games played on Saturday afternoons at MBA.
5-8th Grade Travel – Boys & Girls
Each team will have two 1-1.5 hour practices a week at either MBA or SES. Games will be played against other towns typically on Saturdays or Sundays, with all home games played on Saturday afternoons at MBA or SHS.
